Vandana Seth, CEO and Founder, and one of the catalyst behind the growth of RV Solutions was felicitated at a grand function held by the Deep Welfare Organisation in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on Sunday the 10th of March 2019 at the Constitution Club of India.
Taking note of her inspiring work, Vandana was honoured with ‘Nari Shakti Samman’ award. On wining this award Vandana mentions that “When it comes to Telecom industry it is inspiring to see more and more women coming forward and breaking the glass ceiling. It is important that there are more women leaders in this industry. My Organisation, RV Solutions, believes in supporting the cause of gender diversity at the workplace and equal opportunities are provided to all, enabling greater growth prospects.”
Having a professional B-Tech degree and a passion to start something on her own, Vandana left her lucrative job in the private sector to become self-employed and to give employment to others. The Organisation started from a small unit at South Delhi and now has a pan India presence with multiple services domains.
The women of New India are making their presence felt. They are fighting odds, braving gender bias and creating a space for themselves in the world, including the ICT industry. It is good to see that several woman business leaders have taken the mantle and are taking the road less travelled.
