RV Solutions helped to create a Cadre Management System for the highly confidential department within the Ministry of Finance called the Database Cell (DBC), Central Board of Direct Taxes which is a sub part of Income Tax Department, India. DBC has authorization to maintain data base of CBDT, and has right to add/edit or view the information related to the officers personal details.
CBDT required a software that can able to provide information on real time basis. They requested that this software would help to keep their officers records safe and whenever it was required the information could be accessed easily. They wanted to make their cadre management process in a single software possessing multiple functionalities.
DBC is responsible to add the information related to the officers profile, transfer order, joining, relieving, IPR and other CBDT related information. When any new officer joins the organization, DBC is responsible to add their information in the system.
Previously, Cadre Management functions of these services were being carried out through paper communications. It involved manual updating of data by keeping track of each and every Cadre Management activity which was a cumbersome task and unreliable as many of the orders were done through a manual based system leading to multiple errors. Absence of accurate updated information led to delay in carrying out the Cadre Management activities on a regular basis and this caused reworking of the data leading to loss of time.
To obviate various difficulties that have been faced in the Cadre Management activities, the task of development of the Cadre Management System for CBDT had been undertaken meticulously. The software has been developed by RV Solutions, which is helping DBC to keep records updated and accurate for each and every IRS officer and this in turn is retrieved whenever any information about the officer is required.
Now CBDT is a organization who is technology and software friendly where information flows on real time basis.
