The global electronics and telecom sectors generate over 50+ million tonnes of e-waste annually, with India among the fastest-growing contributors in Asia due to rapid network rollout, device churn and rising IoT deployment. Annually millions of network cards, BTS modules, routers, handsets and IoT endpoints reach end-of-life or fault states producing almost 3+ million tonnes of e-waste in India.
Left unmanaged, this disposal becomes toxic waste that fuels informal and unsafe recycling practices, disproportionately harming low-income communities — while the need for constant replacement, drives carbon-intensive new manufacturing, increases operator's CAPEX.
The challenge extends beyond public telecom networks. Increasingly, Defence, Railways, Manufacturing plants, Utilities and large Industrial groups operate captive communication networks. Their equipment – rectifiers, modems, RF units, IoT nodes – face similar premature failure and limited repair pathways, leading to operational risk, high replacement cost and environmental impact disrupting operations.
The industry urgently requires a circular, resource-efficient alternative that reduces carbon emissions, promotes recycling, extends equipment life and strengthens network resilience across telecom and critical infrastructure.

RV Solutions operates on an end-to-end Sustainable Mobile Device & Network Equipment Lifecycle Management Model, designed to reduce carbon emissions, conserve resources and strengthen communication infrastructure through precision repair, refurbishment and structured reverse logistics.One of our processes, supports and repairs mobile handsets and related accessories, IoT through 600 touch points across India. This includes L0 to L2 support.
Another of our process begins with reverse logistics — retrieving faulty or obsolete telecom and electronic equipment from telecom operators, OEMs and enterprise clients across Defence, Railways, Manufacturing and industrial communication networks. Using advanced diagnostics, testing and high-precision repair infrastructure, our engineering teams restore BTS cards, RF modules, rectifiers, routers, IoT devices, modems and consumer electronics to OEM-grade performance. These repaired units are then redeployed into live networks or reintroduced through partner ecosystems, drastically reducing the need for new production.
Our process significantly reduces material waste, extends equipment life cycles and lowers the carbon footprint associated with new manufacturing.The user journey is seamless from collection to redeployment: enterprises send equipment → RV Solutions performs repair/refurbishment → certified, tested units return to the field → ESG and cost savings are tracked, and partners are provided with measurable ESG insights on carbon savings, E-waste reduction, and lifecycle extension — making sustainability operationally practical and economically beneficial.
